Budget Blinds of Duluth Georgia is expanding and we're looking to add Installers.

Overview:

Budget Blinds is the leading window treatment company not only in Georgia but across the United States. The Gwinnett County franchise has been expanding year over year since it's establishment in 2018 and as such we're looking to add to our team. We currently have 2 full time installers and are looking to add a third to our roster. This could be a trained installer or an apprentice. We are very much a team oriented group and anyone joining us will need to bring both technical skill and help create a great working environment.

Responsibilities and duties:

We are looking for an Installer who can:

- Operate both independently and as a member of a team.
- Ensure our clients have a wonderful experience.
- Create a collaborative work environment between, Designers, Installers and office staff.
- Install blinds, shades, shutters, drapery and other window treatments
- Perform window treatment repairs
- Receive customer payments
- Maintain proper installation paperwork
- Clean customer premises of any installation debris, dust, etc
- Help organize window covering orders and installation materials in shop
- Use simple computer programs (email, payment receiving technology etc.)
- Do basic canvassing activities, i.e. door hangers and yard signs

Qualifications and Skills

Installer Skills, Abilities, and/or Experience that make a successful candidate:

- Prior general workmanship skills from any industry.
- Experience in working as an in-home installer.
- Self-directed and able to work independently and work as a valuable team player.
- Friendly, courteous, pleasant with all types of people.
- Ability to learn and handle new technology as introduced to the window covering and installation industry.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Telephone, written and verbal communication skills are critical when interfacing with all levels of Budget Blinds staff and clients.
- Current and valid driver's license.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and can climb up and down ladders.
- High school diploma or equivalent completed education level.

Compensation

Compensation will depend on role taken on and level of proficiency.

- Minimum $18/hour up to $20/hour with additional performance bonuses
- Training and opportunities for advancement
- Supplemental insurance offered
- Paid time off including PTO, Sick Days and vacation
