Nurse Practitioner Requirements & Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP preferred) in New York
• Previous experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively under physician supervision
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills

Nurse Practitioner Must Haves:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including exams and history reviews
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to support clinical decisions
• Prescribe medications and recommend appropriate lifestyle modifications
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient records and treatment plans
• Educate and counsel patients and their families on conditions, treatments, and preventive care
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure continuity and quality of care

Nurse Practitioner Preferred Background & Skills:

• Familiarity with urgent care protocols and electronic medical records
• Comfortable managing a broad range of acute and chronic conditions
• Passion for providing patient-centered care in a community-based setting
