Job Brief
Even/Odd is seeking a multidisciplinary creative to lead design and social strategy across our brand channels. This part-time, hands-on role involves crafting social content, shaping strategy, and writing compelling copy that amplifies the work of our studio and directors.
The ideal candidate is a strong visual communicator with a strategic mindset—able to work within our brand aesthetic while bringing fresh, thoughtful ideas to how we show up online. You’ll collaborate closely with creative leadership, project EPs, and producers, with room to grow into a senior creative role.
Success in this role means building a social presence that feels unmistakably Even/Odd—sparking client interest, celebrating our collaborators, and contributing to the broader creative conversation.
This contract role begins at 5–10 hours per week and can start immediately. Additional design opportunities—such as title cards, treatments, flyers, and web content—may arise based on interest and availability.
Responsibilities
Social Strategy + Planning:
Collaborate with creative leadership to define goals that increase visibility, engagement, and impact of Even/Odd’s work
Develop and maintain a monthly social media calendar aligned with project and company milestones
Coordinate with EPs, producers, and directors to identify key launch moments and content needs
Present the social plan in weekly internal calls, reviewing timing, priorities, and deadlines
Monitor performance metrics to inform strategy adjustments
Content Creation + Execution
The Social Media Manager is responsible for all aspects of the social post ideation, design and posting.
Develop and design social posts aligned with the E/O brand and project tone.
Write engaging copy and calls-to-action that support strategic goals.
Coordinate asset collection and approvals with producers and EPs.
Community + Asset Management + Archiving
Monitor Even/Odd’s social channels and those of our directors, clients, and partners to identify opportunities for engagement, reposting, and amplification.
Respond to DMs, tags, and post comments in a timely and professional manner, escalating inquiries to the team when needed.
Track and log notable mentions or press coverage for internal and external use.
Organize and archive final social assets—including captions, visuals, and related press—by project, maintaining an accessible internal record.
Oversee the submission of select work to platforms like Little Black Book, Director’s Notes, and Director’s Library, ensuring materials meet each outlet’s formatting and content standards.
Requirements

2+ years of experience in social media management or digital strategy
Strong copywriting and content planning skills
A critical eye for creative work and a proven ability to manage content from concept to delivery
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
Proficiency in Figma
Proficiency in social media tools and analytics platforms
Expertise in typography, layout, color, and visual storytelling with the ability to uphold and evolve brand systems
General understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Familiarity with Premiere Pro or video-based tools
