About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic and technically hands-on Senior Director of Data Science to lead a high-performing team focused on commercial biopharma analytics and cutting-edge AI innovation. This is a unique opportunity to step into a mature function and drive the next phase of growth—shifting from production analytics to AI R&D, including Agentic AI and LLM-based applications.

You’ll lead a talented team of data scientists and analytics engineers, own the technical roadmap, and partner cross-functionally to deliver business-critical insights and intelligent product features.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop a team of 5 (data scientists, analytics engineer, analyst)
• Own the data science roadmap, balancing delivery with long-term innovation
• Guide the evolution of a robust analytics platform (Airflow, Snowflake, Python)
• Stay hands-on through model reviews, code oversight, and technical mentorship
• Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Solutions Consulting
• Contribute to R&D efforts in areas like RAG chatbots, embedded ML, and Agentic AI

Key Qualifications

• 7+ years in data science or analytics (5+ for standout candidates)
• 3+ years in commercial biopharma analytics (e.g., brand performance, market access)
• Proven leadership of small technical teams (3+ direct reports)
• Deep technical fluency in Python (Pandas, PySpark) and SQL
• Experience with machine learning (classification, regression, NLP, experimentation)
• Familiarity with Snowflake , Airflow , and ML deployment practices
• Experience with specialty therapeutics (e.g., oncology, rare disease) is a strong plus

• Propensity-based recommendation engine (launching this year)
• Embedded ML features in product UI
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) chatbot for internal data access
