Are you a dedicated and skilled Physicians Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioners (NP) looking for a fulfilling opportunity in a thriving healthcare environment? We are actively seeking a compassionate and highly motivated Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing practice in Norfolk, Virginia. Responsibilities:

As an Advanced Practice Provider , you will be integral to delivering excellent patient care, which includes:

  • Conducting thorough patient histories and performing comprehensive physical examinations.

  • Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.

  • Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests.

  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized patient treatment plans.

  • Prescribing medications and other therapies in accordance with state and federal regulations and practice protocols.

  • Performing minor procedures relevant to the scope of practice and specialty.

  • Providing extensive patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment adherence.

  • Collaborating effectively with supervising physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Maintaining accurate, complete, and timely electronic medical records (EMR).

  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.

Qualifications:

For Physician Assistants (PA)

  • Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant (PA) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

  • Current NCCPA certification.

For Nurse Practitioner (NP)

  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

  • Current, unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

  • Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

  • Current national certification as an NP from an accredited body.

Continued Qualifications:

  • Current DEA registration.
  • BLS/ACLS certification (as required by specialty and facility policy).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider, Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Proficiency in EMR systems
  • Exceptional clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and treatment planning skills.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and patient education abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Unwavering commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.
