Overview Physical Security Project Manager role at New Era Technology. The position is focused on planning, execution, monitoring, and control of projects involving intrusion systems, access control systems, and video surveillance, with responsibilities detailed below. Responsibilities Primary duties & responsibilities include but are not limited to: Project Planning and Execution: Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets; guiding, influencing, and motivating the team executing projects; ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards. Resource Management: Managing project resources and stakeholders; ensuring effective utilization of resources. Monitoring and Controlling: Monitoring project progress and performance; identifying, assessing, and managing risks and issues. Communication: Communicating with stakeholders, managing expectations; ensuring adherence to project management standards and best practices; identifying, assessing, and managing project risks and issues. Qualifications Required education & experience : Three to five years of experience working in a project environment, including relevant industry experience preferably with overall responsibility; experience with intrusion systems, access control systems and video surveillance systems; experience in troubleshooting and resolving project issues. Preferred education & experience : Bachelor’s Degree preferred; PMP or Equivalent Professional Certification. Competencies Leadership Skills : Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to delegate tasks and manage team dynamics; identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues. Problem-Solving Skills : Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities; critical thinking and innovative solution development; experience in troubleshooting. Communication and Negotiation Skills : Advanced communication and negotiation skills to convey goals and updates; manage stakeholder expectations and conflicts. Financial Management : Budgeting and financial management to ensure projects stay within budget; monitor expenditures. Risk Management : Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks; develop and implement risk management plans. Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall); working knowledge of intrusion, access control, burglar alarms, and/or video surveillance systems. Requirements Summary Three to five years of project experience; relevant industry experience with ownership of projects preferred. Experience with intrusion, access control, and video surveillance systems; troubleshooting experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred; PMP or equivalent certification preferred. Details Hours : Full Time, 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed. Travel : May travel to client sites; up to 10% travel expected. Salary : $80,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
