SALARY/RANK: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of successful football coaching experience, at the collegiate level preferred. Experience managing budgets and supervising staff is desirable. Strong leadership and communication skills. Demonstrated strong organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail and task completion. Knowledge of current coaching strategies, player development, and game management. Commitment to compliance with institutional, conference, and national association regulations. Ability to articulate and integrate faith into coaching philosophy and team culture. The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong Christian faith, a commitment to the University's Mission, and a demonstrated commitment to that faith, through his/her professional responsibilities, relationships and the mentoring of students.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Head Football Coach provides leadership and oversight for all aspects of the University’s intercollegiate football program in alignment with the mission and values of the University. The coach is responsible for developing a competitive football program that emphasizes academic excellence, spiritual growth, sportsmanship, and personal development. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
