This global studio is expanding its world-class team in the United Arab Emirates and is seeking passionate Game Designers ready to relocate and help shape the next generation of blockbuster titles. In this role, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including design, engineering, art, audio and production, to craft engaging gameplay systems, mechanics and features. You’ll play a vital role in transforming creative ideas into polished, high-quality AAA experiences that resonate with players worldwide. Key Responsibilities Design and document innovative gameplay systems, mechanics and player experiences from concept to release Prototype and iterate using Unreal Engine 5 or equivalent tools Collaborate with engineers, artists, animators, and producers to ensure design consistency and technical excellence Apply player psychology to create gameplay that’s intuitive, engaging, and emotionally rewarding Use play-testing and analytics to refine game flow, balance, and pacing Deliver detailed Game Design Documents (GDDs) and communicate design intent clearly across teams Provide feedback during cross-functional reviews and help mentor junior designers What You’ll Bring 5 years of experience as a Game Designer in AAA console or PC game development Strong understanding of core gameplay systems , combat, progression, or open-world features Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine (UE5 preferred) or similar engines Proven ability to take design concepts through to polished implementation Excellent collaboration and communication skills in multi-disciplinary environments A portfolio or reel demonstrating shipped AAA titles or high-quality prototypes Preferred Experience with AI, 3Cs (Character, Camera, Controls) , or cinematic gameplay systems Familiarity with data-driven iteration and telemetry analysis Passion for immersive storytelling and world-class gameplay experiences Relocation & Benefits Full relocation support to the United Arab Emirates , including flights, visa processing, accommodation assistance and settling-in support Competitive AAA-level salary and performance bonuses Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Paid annual leave, public holidays, and flexible working options Professional growth opportunities through mentorship, conferences, and internal training Vibrant international team culture in one of the most innovative entertainment hubs in the world #J-18808-Ljbffr TalentHive
