Job Description

We are seeking a licensed General Dentist for an 18-day locum tenens assignment at a dental clinic in Iowa. This opportunity begins on 12/08/2025, and involves working Monday through Thursday with varying hours. The dentist will be responsible for providing comprehensive general dentistry services, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatments. Proficiency in Dentrix dental software is required. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with all aspects of general dentistry and able to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical setting. There is potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Schedule: Monday & Tuesday: 8am-5pm, Wednesday: 9am-5pm, Thursday: 9am-6pm

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnoses

• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients

• Conduct routine dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, and extractions

• Perform restorative procedures including crowns, bridges, and dentures

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care

• Utilize Dentrix software for patient records and treatment planning

• Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Adhere to all dental clinic policies and procedures

• Stay current with advancements in dental techniques and technologies
