Position Summary:

As an Amphenol Industrial Operations (AIO) CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for Manufacturing and processing components using CNC or Manual Lathes, Mills, Presses, and Manual Tools. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high technology, manufacturing environment and works well in a matrix structure across all levels of the organization.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications
\n
• Create and optimize toolpaths, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency in production
\n
• Program CNC Machines: Use Mastercam software to create and modify CNC programs for milling, turning, and other machining operations
\n
• Machine Setup: Set up CNC machines by installing and aligning tools, fixtures, and workpieces based on setup sheets and engineering requirements
\n
• Operate Equipment: Run CNC machines to produce high-quality components, monitor operations, and adjust parameters as needed
\n
• Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines, tools, and equipment to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

Required:

\n
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
\n
• Proficiency in Mastercam for programming CNC machines
\n
• Strong knowledge of CNC milling and turning operations
\n
• Hands-on experience with precision measuring tools and inspection techniques
\n
• Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments
\n

Preferred:

• CNC Certification

Primary Location: 20 Valley St. Endicott NY
