Are you committed to holistic patient-centered care? Do you thrive providing adult and pediatric care in a variety of settings? If you want to grow as an empathetic advocate for the needs of vulnerable populations, you may be perfect for our Legacy team.
With compassion and commitment, Clinical Social Workers embody the Legacy mission of making life better for others. They do this by evaluating the psychosocial and mental health issues of patients to ensure transition planning, crisis management, and planning/coordination of both internal and external services. They assess intervention strategies to address behavioral and addiction issues, as well as end-of-life care and informed decision making about therapeutic options. Our Clinical Social Workers are advocates not just for our patients, but also for their surrogates, family members, caregivers and health care providers.
Unity Center for Behavioral Health is a one-of-a-kind center for people facing a mental health crisis. Unity Center features a Psychiatric Emergency Service, where patients receive care by specialists in behavioral health in a calming, non-hospital-like setting. Unity also has inpatient care for adults and teens. It is a collaboration between Adventist Health, Kaiser Permanente, Legacy Health and Oregon Health & Science University.
