Assists the Anesthesiologists in the provision of direct patient care as requested. Provides assistance to the nursing staff through the provision, maintenance and functioning of medical equipment. **Job Description** : **EDUCATION:** + HS Diploma: High School or General Education Diploma, or equivalent education/experience + Other: Minimum two years of college. **CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:** + BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider **TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:** + 1-year recent relevant experience. **SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:** + Knowledge of principles/applications of aseptic technique; care/maintenance of anesthesia-related equipment; care/maintenance of surgical equipment. + Knowledge of the English language with/ written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to prioritize and problem-solve. + Interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills. + Basic Computer Skills + Ability to effectively demonstrate inventory control. **Job Shift:** Varied **Schedule:** Full Time **Shift Hours:** 8 **Days of the Week:** Monday - Friday, Variable **Weekend Requirements:** As Needed, Rotating Weekends **Benefits:** Yes **Unions:** No **Position Status:** Non-Exempt **Weekly Hours:** 40 **Employee Status:** Regular Employees of Sutter Health and its entities may handle hazardous drugs in the course of their work, including patient care, which requires them to manage, store, prepare, receive, unpack, transport, dispose of, or administer drugs identified as hazardous or potentially hazardous by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and in accordance with the USP 800 guidelines. Pay Range is $53.63 to $64.35 / hour _The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
